Get the code

Publit.Si comes as source code in a private GitHub repository. Your license key gives your GitHub account access to it.

You need

The receipt email from Lemon Squeezy with your license key
A free GitHub account
Git (on the Mac it comes with the Xcode Command Line Tools; on Windows install Git for Windows)

Open the receipt email from Lemon Squeezy and copy your license key.
Go to publit.si/claim, paste the key and enter your GitHub username (not your email).
GitHub sends you an invitation by email. Accept it, or find it at github.com/notifications.

The invitation is for the username you entered. If you typed a different one, claim again with the right username.

Open the Terminal (Mac, Linux) or PowerShell (Windows), go to the folder where Publit.Si should live, and run:

Clone the repository and open the folder:

git clone https://github.com/publit-si/publitsi.git
cd publitsi

Git asks you to sign in to GitHub the first time. Use the account you entered on the claim page.

Keep this folder: your posts live in content/ inside it, and updates come in with git pull.

ls (Windows: dir) shows package.json, SETUP.md and .env.example.
