Set up Publit.Si
Ten steps, about 2 hours once. Most of it happens in the developer dashboards of Meta, Google and TikTok. Skip the platforms you don't use. The full guide, with every command and a check after each step, ships with the code as SETUP.md.
What you need
- A Mac or a Windows 10/11 PC that is on and awake when posts are due
- Node.js 22 or newer and pnpm (via Corepack); Homebrew on the Mac, Git for Windows and winget on a PC
- A free GitHub account for access to the code
- A domain on Cloudflare (free plan) for Instagram and TikTok. Moving a domain to Cloudflare first can take a few hours to go live
- Your own developer apps at Meta, Google and TikTok (free)
- Google Chrome, for TikTok Studio and one profile per account
- Optional: Claude Code, Codex or Cursor for the AI features

Get the code
Claim access with your license key, accept the GitHub invitation and clone the repository.

Install the tools
Install ffmpeg and cloudflared, run pnpm install, copy .env.example to .env and run pnpm local:setup.

Open a tunnel with Cloudflare
Create a Cloudflare Tunnel so Instagram and TikTok can fetch your media from a short-lived, signed link.

Connect Instagramif you use it
Create a Meta app with Instagram login, invite your account as a tester and add the keys to .env.

Connect YouTubeif you use it
Create a Google Cloud project, enable the YouTube Data API and set the consent screen to production.

Connect TikTokif you use it
Create a TikTok app and sandbox, add your account and load the Chrome extension for TikTok Studio.

Start Publit.Si
Start it by hand or install the login items, then check that worker, gateway and tunnel are green.

Sign in to Claude Code, Codex or Cursor and add the Publit.Si tools to your agent.

Create a project, connect an account and schedule a test post a few minutes ahead.

Open the code in Claude Code and type /setup, or open it in Codex and say “set up Publit.Si for me”. Either one runs the commands, walks you through each dashboard and checks every step. For any other agent, SETUP.md has a prompt to paste. Your secrets stay in your .env, never in the chat.
